Colts | Deon Cain could be No. 3 receiver

Fri, 15 Jun 2018 18:38:12 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain could open the season as the No. 3 wide receiver, according to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star, and Keefer expects Cain to see "lots of snaps" this season.

Fantasy Tip: It's asking a lot for Cain to be a dependable fantasy option as a rookie, but his size could allow him to make an immediate impact in the red zone. He's at least worth stashing in keeper formats.

Colts | Deon Cain to have a role early?

Sat, 12 May 2018 21:03:06 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain could "find catches as a rookie" despite being a sixth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, according to Lance Zierlein of NFL.com.

Fantasy Tip: A strong training camp will help his cause, but Cain has the size and athleticism to be an impact receiver. He has enough long-term potential to stash in keeper formats.

Colts | Deon Cain lands in Indianapolis

Sat, 28 Apr 2018 12:41:30 -0700

The Indianapolis Colts picked Clemson WR Deon Cain with the 185th overall selection (Round 6) in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Tip: Cain was a deep threat for the Tigers, and he was a huge cog in the offense during their 2016 national championship season. He follows in the footsteps of Martavis Bryant, DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins and Mike Williams, as Clemson's just keeps pumping out NFL-caliber wideouts. He went later than many figured, but he has some upside and could be a big-play option for Andrew Luck before too long. Remember, Antonio Brown was once a Round 6 pick, too.
