Steelers | JuJu Smith-Schuster should be popular target

Thu, 05 Jul 2018 11:49:00 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is expected to receive at least 100 targets this season, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.

Steelers | JuJu Smith-Schuster likes the slot

Thu, 14 Jun 2018 21:13:48 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster said he likes playing in the slot because it fits his aggressive style of play. "I like playing inside," Smith-Schuster said. "I just love the physicalness of being in the box with the bigger guys."

Fantasy Tip: Smith-Schuster topped 900 yards receiving last year to go along with seven touchdowns, and he has the potential to improve on those numbers in 2018. At worst, he should deliver WR3 production.

Steelers | JuJu Smith-Schuster has knee issue

Wed, 13 Jun 2018 12:08:41 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) has been limited this offseason by what he referred to as a frustrating injury. He has not participated in team drills during organized team activities or minicamp, but he does expect to be ready when training camp begins.

Fantasy Tip: As long as JuJu doesn't have any setbacks leading up to or during training camp he should be fine for the regular season. It will be a tall task for him to improve on his 917-yard, seven-touchdown rookie year, but he did miss two contests. He's a legitimate WR2 candidate.

Steelers | JuJu Smith-Schuster youngest to 1,000 yards

Mon, 01 Jan 2018 11:45:21 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who turned 21 in November, is the youngest player in NFL history to record 1,000 all-purpose yards in a season.

Fantasy Tip: Smith-Schuster piled up nearly a quarter of his 1,157 all-purpose yards in Week 17, finishing with 143 receiving yards and 122 return yards against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie has stepped up in the two-plus games Antonio Brown has been sidelined and locked up No. 2 receiver duties opposite Brown for the foreseeable future. Brown is expected back after the Steelers' week off during wild-card weekend, so Smith-Schuster will be more of a contrarian play in playoff leagues.
