Braves | Kevin Maitan signs with Atlanta

Sat, 02 Jul 2016 13:58:44 -0700

Venezuelan SS Kevin Maitan signed with the Atlanta Braves on a deal Saturday, July 2, that includes a $4.25 million signing bonus. The 16-year-old Maitan was the top-rated international free agent.

Fantasy Tip: The switch-hitter is believed to be the best prospect out of Venezuela since Miguel Cabrera. Obviously, he's several years from the majors, but he could be worth a long-term dynasty pickup.
