Browns | Cleveland skeptical of Corey Coleman

Sat, 16 Jun 2018 20:18:43 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman "work ethic and football intelligence" continue to be questioned by the coaching staff, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram.

Fantasy Tip: Between the injuries and lack of production, it's tough to expect Coleman to suddenly put it all together. He's a late-round lottery ticket, at best.

Browns | Corey Coleman entering important year

Thu, 14 Jun 2018 12:35:41 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman is entering a make-or-break season and has been working hard during offseason workouts, according to offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Coleman has been lined up as an outside receiver when the team is in three-receiver sets.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has dealt with injuries during the first two years of his career, so he will need to stay healthy to be productive in the passing game. He likely will compete with Antonio Callaway for the No. 3 receiver job during training camp but probably will not be a great fantasy option no matter where he is on the depth chart.

Browns | Corey Coleman not untouchable

Tue, 08 May 2018 16:08:17 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman could be traded if the Browns were to receive a "decent offer," according to The Cleveland Plain-Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman will have to play the best football of his career to compete for targets with the likes of Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry. Talented rookie Antonio Callaway will also demand looks. For now, Coleman's ceiling is a WR4.

Browns | Corey Coleman not shopped to other teams

Thu, 03 May 2018 13:01:36 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman did not appear to be on the trading block during the 2018 NFL Draft, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has dealt with injuries since entering the NFL and is behind Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry on the depth chart and could continue to drop depending on the progression of the other young receivers on the roster. Owners in most fantasy leagues probably can avoid Coleman in drafts.

Browns | Uncertain future for Corey Coleman?

Fri, 05 Jan 2018 09:31:00 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman faces an "uncertain future" with the team after a second straight season of "unmet expectations," according to ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman's drop of a critical pass late in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers played a key role in the Browns' inability to avoid a 0-16 season, but the bigger problem for the new leadership in Cleveland may be his durability - he's played only 19 of a possible 32 games. Coleman will likely start next season if he is brought back as expected, but the Browns may not hesitate to seek an upgrade.

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman caught one pass for 16 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.

Browns | Corey Coleman posts 62 yards, TD

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 16:19:38 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman finished with five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers on his six targets.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman visited the end zone for the first time since Week 1, as he is totally back from his hand injury now. He bounced back nicely after getting blanked last week against the Chargers. He can be trusted as a WR4 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 15.

Browns | Corey Coleman leads way in Cleveland

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 13:50:25 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman finished with three receptions for 64 yards on eight targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has posted nine catches for 144 yards over the past two games on 19 targets, but he hasn't found the end zone since his return from a hand injury. Still, he's a decent low-end WR3 or flex option in most PPR formats, with WR4 appeal in standard leagues heading into Week 13 against the Chargers.
