Seahawks | Tyler Lockett not practicing

Thu, 16 Aug 2018 10:22:31 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (leg) was held out of practice Thursday, Aug. 16, after being kicked in the leg Wednesday, Aug. 15.

Fantasy Tip: Lockett has a solid chance to be a bona fide sleeper this year with Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham out of the picture. Career numbers are for the taking with a WR3 to WR4 finish in the realm of possibilities.

Seahawks | Tyler Lockett has practice scare

Wed, 15 Aug 2018 12:32:58 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (undisclosed) went down in practice Wednesday, Aug. 15, but appeared to be OK afterwards.

Fantasy Tip: It was not disclosed what Lockett hurt, but the incident was not serious. Lockett possesses sleeper allure as Seattle's No. 2 wide receiver. Injuries have plagued him in his young career, but achieving WR3 status is not out of the question with Russell Wilson at quarterback.

Seahawks | Tyler Lockett an impact player

Sun, 24 Jun 2018 20:19:56 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett said he is healthier than he has ever been, and head coach Pete Carroll said having Lockett healthy is "really positive" for the offense.

Fantasy Tip: Lockett should be the No. 2 receiver for Seattle this year. He brings some injury risk, but Lockett has WR3 upside if you are willing to take the chance.

Seahawks | Tyler Lockett finally back to 100 percent

Thu, 07 Jun 2018 17:23:18 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett is now fully healthy from the leg injury he suffered at the end of the 2016 season, according to head coach Pete Carroll, who said it was "obvious" that Lockett was not 100 percent last year. "It's really been a blessing for him to be able to get his legs back underneath him," Carroll said. "Last year was a struggle for him, the offseason for certain, but throughout the season itself he was not able to do things in the same manner that he had done it in years past, and that's really just workload. He just couldn't do as much, had to take care of his legs more. So he's back at it, he's really playing fast, he has no restrictions of any kind of after effects of the surgery of last year or since he's been hurt."

Fantasy Tip: Lockett figures to be a nice bounce-back candidate given everything Carroll said about him, and if he's truly fully healthy now, it would appear the 25-year-old can return to his rookie form of a few years ago when he registered career bests in receptions, yards and touchdowns. Lockett carries WR3 potential into the upcoming campaign as a result.
