Dolphins | DeVante Parker quiet once again

Mon, 11 Dec 2017 21:13:14 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker logged four catches on six targets for 40 yards in the team's Week 14 win Monday, Dec. 11, against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: It was his best game in a month, but that's not saying much considering the former first-round draft pick had just six grabs for 36 yards over his last three contests combined. At the same time, Parker could be trending back up, as he has displayed notably better chemistry with Jay Cutler compared to Matt Moore. He's a risky WR3/FLEX play at this point, however.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker does nothing

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 16:42:08 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker posted just one catch for five yards on three targets in Week 12 against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Parker has all the potential in the world, but he is terribly inconsistent for his fantasy owners. He is healthy, he just appears to be well behind Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills in the pecking order for receptions, especially with Matt Moore under center.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker quiet in home loss

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 17:39:24 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker finished with four catches for 26 yards on nine targets in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Tip: The Dolphins were trying to get him the ball but it just wasn't working out. At the end, Kenny Stills and Jarvis Landry easily outproduced the oft-injured receiver. Parker remains nothing more than a WR4 or flex option in deeper fantasy leagues heading into Week 12 at New England.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker not focused?

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 18:20:14 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker is not playing with the same "edge" mentally since returning from an ankle injury, according to offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen. "We have to get him right back to that level," Christensen said. "He still could do some great things before this year is over and he could make it into a heck of a season."

Fantasy Tip: Parker has actually put up decent numbers, but injuries have limited him to five games. He could be a WR3 in a favorable matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, but his week-to-week availability is a constant concern.

Dolphins | Fine MNF showing for DeVante Parker

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 22:17:29 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker registered six catches on nine targets for 66 yards in the team's Week 10 contest Monday, Nov. 13, versus the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Even while Jarvis Landry continues to be a target hog, Parker still gets a desirable workload, as he's received eight or more targets in all but one of his six games played -- and the one time he didn't was because he left in the first quarter due to an injury last month. Unfortunately, Parker has just one touchdown to show for his efforts, but given how many looks he receives from Jay Cutler, he seems primed to multiply that total down the stretch.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker with solid day

Mon, 06 Nov 2017 05:44:22 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker had five receptions for 76 yards in Week 9 against the Oakland Raiders Sunday, Nov. 5.

Fantasy Tip: Parker and Julius Thomas tied for the most targets with eight, and that's something that should continue as long as he's healthy. He's a WR2 option in fantasy.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker expected to play

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 08:32:12 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (ankle) is expected to play in Week 9's game against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Parker was listed as questionable on the injury report despite being a full participant in all three practice sessions during the week. Even though he hasn't played since Week 5, he is worth plugging back into fantasy lineups as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 because of a desirable matchup and the fact that QB Jay Cutler is back under center.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker listed as questionable

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 13:04:11 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 3, but is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Fantasy Tip: Parker should be able to play this week and should have a solid role in the passing game. He is a solid fantasy option when he is healthy and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver against a banged-up Oakland Raiders secondary.

Dolphins | Miami to face decimated secondary

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 11:00:15 -0700

Miami Dolphins WRs DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills will head into Week 9 in a favorable spot as the Oakland Raiders ruled out CBs David Amerson (foot), Gareon Conley (shin) and Demetrius McCray (knee) on Friday, Nov. 3.

Fantasy Tip: Parker has been out since Week 5 with an ankle injury and Miami is coming off a dismal showing against the Baltimore Ravens last week, but neither party could ask for much more than to face a secondary that will likely be trotting out Sean Smith and T.J. Carrie as its starting corners. This should be a get-right matchup for the Dolphins' passing game, so don't hesitate using Parker, Landry and Stills in Week 9.
