Falcons | Tevin Coleman dealing with concussion

Fri, 08 Dec 2017 10:55:29 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) was placed in the league's concussion protocol Friday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman suffered the injury of late in Thursday's win over the New Orleans Saints, but he will have 10 days to recover as the Falcons do not play again until Monday Night Football to wrap up Week 15. Devonta Freeman enjoyed a 24-9 advantage in touches over Coleman in Week 14 and projects for even more work versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if Coleman is not cleared in time.

Thu, 07 Dec 2017 20:58:49 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed nine times for 32 yards in a 20-17 win over the New Orleans Saints Thursday, Dec. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has just 17 carries for 54 yards in the two games since Devonta Freeman returned to the lineup, and Coleman is back to being a flex option for fantasy owners.

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 22 yards on eight carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. He also caught three passes for 27 yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman returned to his normal role on offense with Devonta Freeman back in the lineup and will be involved in the running and passing game moving forward. He can be a flex option in point-per-reception leagues next week.

Falcons | Two touchdowns for Tevin Coleman

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 13:56:35 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman received most of the work at running back with Devonta Freeman out and could have a similar role next week if Foreman remains sidelined. He should be considered a No. 2 running back or a flex option in all leagues if he starts.

Falcons | Tevin Coleman finds end zone on MNF

Mon, 20 Nov 2017 20:59:42 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman managed 20 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 11 victory Monday, Nov. 20, versus the Seattle Seahawks. He also added one catch for 15 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Thanks to a one-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter, Coleman was able to deliver a worthwhile outing for his fantasy owners in the absence of Devonta Freeman (concussion). However, owners shouldn't get too comfortable in rolling with the 24-year-old, as there's a good chance Freeman returns to action in Week 12. If that's the case, Coleman would be tough deploying outside the deepest formats.

Falcons | Team confident in Tevin Coleman

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 15:59:58 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman might be called upon to start in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks with RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) uncertain. Head coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday, Nov. 15, that the team is confident in Coleman's ability to shoulder the load.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman, who hasn't lost a fumble in 30 games, might be the workhorse against the Seattle Seahawks. While it's not a particularly attractive fantasy matchup, he is a decent low-end RB2 or flex option if Freeman is inactive.

Falcons | Tevin Coleman with upside

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 08:17:49 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman figures to see a larger role with RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) expected to miss Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman doesn't have the greatest matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. However, he figures to see heavy work and should be in the RB1 discussion. Terron Ward could also be used as a flex play if you have to cover an injury.

Falcons | Tevin Coleman fills in admirably

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 20:49:56 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 20 times for 83 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys, filling in nicely once RB Devonta Freeman (concussion) left in the first half.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman would be the bellcow in Week 11 on Monday Night Football in Seattle if Freeman isn't clear to play, but the good news is that he gets an extra day to make it through the league's protocol. Coleman would be a solid RB2 if Freeman is inactive.

Falcons | Tevin Coleman gets into end zone

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 14:14:30 -0800

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed five times for just five yards in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers, but he was able to salvage the line with a 19-yard touchdown on his only reception.

Fantasy Tip: Defense was the rule in Charlotte, as the Panthers entered No. 4 in the NFL in rushing defense and looked the part. Coleman remains more of a RB3 or flex option heading into Week 10 against the visiting Cowboys.

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed for 82 yards on 14 carries against the New York Jets in Week 8. He also caught one pass for 22 yards during the game.
