Bears | Allen Robinson practices Wednesday

Wed, 30 May 2018 11:36:59 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (knee) practiced Wednesday, May 30, for the first time since signing with Bears. Robinson is still working his way towards a full recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 1 last year.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson is an underrated fantasy asset in his first season with Chicago, as long as he's healthy. His injury history makes him more draftable as a low-end WR1 or high-end WR2 representing Mitchell Trubisky's No. 1 target.

Bears | Allen Robinson where he needs to be

Wed, 16 May 2018 12:26:09 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (knee) is ahead of the game and looking good as he continues to recover from a torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in Week 1 last year. Head coach Matt Nagy said the Bears feel good about Robinson's prognosis and that he won't need to be rushed back.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson is ready for a rebound season with a new team and a fresh start. He will immediately step in and serve as Mitch Trubisky's No. 1 target on an otherwise lackluster receiving corps. If Trubisky can improve and be consistent, Robinson has top 15 fantasy WR potential.

Bears | Allen Robinson financial details

Sun, 18 Mar 2018 05:12:29 -0700

Updating previous reports, Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson's three-year contract is worth $42 million, with $18 million fully guaranteed by next week. He is scheduled to earn a base salary of $9.9 million for the 2019 season, with $7.2 million of it converting to a full guarantee by next March.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered in the opening week of the 2017 season but should be fully healthy by the time training camp begins. He should be viewed as a WR2 in most fantasy formats.

Bears | Chicago expected to land Allen Robinson

Tue, 13 Mar 2018 00:10:12 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent WR Allen Robinson (knee) intends to sign with the Chicago Bears shortly after the start of the new league year barring any last-minute snags Wednesday, March 14, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Fantasy Tip: Assuming this deal happens and his recovery from ACL surgery goes smoothly, Robinson brings instant credibility to a receiving corps that needed help perhaps more than any team in the league. While a healthy Robinson alone won't be enough to guarantee Mitchell Trubisky succeeds, it gives him a fighting chance. This move doesn't figure to boost Robinson's fantasy stock much if at all, as he should remain in the WR2 conversation.

Packers | Allen Robinson an option for GB?

Mon, 12 Mar 2018 10:55:43 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent WR Allen Robinson could receive some interest from the Green Bay Packers, in the opinion of NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson could receive a lucrative contract this offseason, so Packers will have competition if they pursue Robinson. Robinson probably would be a starting receiver for the Packers if he signed with them and would be at least a No. 2 fantasy receiver.

Jaguars | Allen Robinson to have ample suitors

Sun, 11 Mar 2018 13:55:06 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent WR Allen Robinson is expected to attract interest from the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns in free agency this week, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson is almost certain to be off the market by the time next weekend rolls around, and he would be the clear No. 1 wide receiver in San Francisco or Chicago. Both teams have young (and presumably ascending) quarterbacks and are run by offensive-minded head coaches, so Robinson would likely remain in the WR2 conversation for fantasy purposes if he lands in either one of those spots.

Jaguars | Allen Robinson won't be tagged

Tue, 06 Mar 2018 07:44:03 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent WR Allen Robinson will not receive the franchise tag or transition tag, according to sources. The team has until March 12 to work out a deal.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson was in the WR1 mix before tearing his ACL in Week 1. He'll enter 2018 as a high-end WR2.

Jaguars | Allen Robinson may not return?

Mon, 05 Mar 2018 17:09:21 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Robinson appears unlikely to return to the team, according to Jaguars.com's John Oehser, who suggests the team's decision-makers do not want to be handcuffed by what would be a $16 million hit.

Fantasy Tip: With less than 24 hours before franchise tags need to be handed out and little chatter about the Jaguars using theirs on Robinson, he appears to be headed for the open market. Despite coming off a torn ACL he suffered in Week 1, Robinson should have no shortage of suitors in free agency if that happens. Almost regardless of where he lands, he should be on the WR1 radar for fantasy purposes.
