Atlanta Falcons special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong is likely headed to the New York Jets to become their new special teams coordinator. Armstrong and New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles were teammates in college, and Bowles tried to bring in Armstrong last year, but he was still under contract with Atlanta.

Atlanta Falcons wide receivers coach Terry Robiskie and special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong are expected to be retained by the team once Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator is named the new head coach following the Super Bowl. Defensive line coach Bryan Cox is also expected to stay. Cox and Armstrong have both previously worked with Quinn.

Although the Atlanta Falcons are looking for coaches from other teams, they are keeping a lid on existing coaches leaving for other teams. Atlanta denied the New York Jets permission to interview special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong and also turned away the Oakland Raiders, who wanted to speak to offensive line coach Mike Tice. The team wants to make most of the current staff available to the new coach.
